SHATTERPRUFE WINS MERIT AWARD AT 2011 EXPORTER OF THE YEAR AWARDS

 

At the annual Exporter of the Year Awards, held on 26 August 2011 at Port Elizabeth’s Feather Market Centre, Shatterprufe was awarded a Merit Award in the Corporate Category.

The Awards are organized by Exporters Club of the Eastern Cape and this year was the 31st Awards Ceremony.  The awards recognize companies who have excelled in terms of exports over the past year.  Shatterprufe was the overall winner last year and that honour went to Volkswagen South Africa this year.

The Merit Award is in recognition of Shatterprufe’s efforts to save energy and water.  In handing out the Award the Exporters Club noted how Shatterprufe had implemented the energy awareness campaign at Neave, the installation of high bay lighting, and our other initiatives to conserve energy and water.

Being recognized for our environmental efforts is a major achievement for Shatterprufe and one that we can certainly all be proud of.
